Ms B resigned from her role with her employers, providing notice of one year. Unusually her employers requested that a Settlement Agreement be signed at that time to agree she would not bring any claims against them and work the full year. They then agreed to a second Settlement Agreement when her employment ended.
At Ms B’s request, Slee Blackwell’s Employment Team advised her in respect of both Settlement Agreements. This included ensuring that her employers amended the first Settlement Agreement to permit Ms B to seek further legal advice on the second Settlement Agreement when her employment ended, given the potential for circumstances to change in 12 months.
The employers also met Ms B’s legal costs in full.
